Arrived in traffic to Seattle. Got to the B&B turns out that our reservation was never accepted. Luckily we had my apartment that we could move into. I was just hoping to set up a bit and then head to a quiet place to sleep and not worry about breakfast and whatnot. It was not to be however.
With the help of Inness, Megan, and Mom we actually moved in extremely quickly. It turns out that my apartment is right on the back alley where people move in. This was excellent for move in because I could pass things in directly through the window. This however meant that there is a steady flow of traffic and a view of dumpsters right outside my apartment.
The kitchen is miniscule. Grandma, your baking sheet doesn't even fit in the oven. So I'll have to figure that out. We did quite a bit of unpacking. Inness had to leave, but Mom, Megan and I went to a delicious Greek place right across the street. Managed to get a parking spot on the street in front of my new beautiful home. Unpacked some more, put together a bookcase that caused me a lot of Tsuris. Then mom and I went to Tully's so that I could unwind a bit and relax. Mom is doing really great. Sorry this is so jumbled I'm trying to talk to a few people at once.
Took a bath because I don't have a shower curtain, and now it's time for bed.
Glad mom is feeling better and your apartment is beautiful. Can't wait to visit! I wonder when you'll get your first taste of Seattle's rain . . .
