All set up!

Well we did it! We moved me in, unpacked, set up, cleaned, decorated, visited, ate, drank, walked, and toured the University District of Seattle. In a matter of two days we set up my entire apartment. Very impressive.

The food, the area, the people are so different here. It's absolutely beautiful. It's going to take some getting used to but I think that I'm going to like it here. There will be a lot to do. There is a lot of nature to explore.

Today I got up early to return the 12' Penske truck to Bothell, Washington. I got up really early to get there on time and clean and gas up the truck. I went as fast as I could only to discover that lo and behold the rental place was closed for memorial day even though I called in advance to confirm that they would be open. So angry! I called Penske and they said to just to slip the keys into the slot in the garage. I wasn't a fan, but we'll see. Inness drove me home and then we had eggs benedict at Costa's, the restaurant across the street.

I'm very happy with how the apartment came out. Here's a before and after shot.

I like it, not the best location in the building. But the building is centrally located in the U district. Restaurants, coffee shops, theatres, shops, bars everywhere.

Finished, pretty much. Nice view huh?

Here's the kitchen, Mom set it all up for Nomi. We are actually going to cook for the first time tomorrow morning. Then walk to the Harry Potter room on UW. Excited!
